LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Whether we are looking at group or personal leadership, we can continuously improve on our performance. Programmes are developed to suit the needs of groups and individuals and these may include:

SOCIAL NETWORKING AS A BUSINESS TOOL

Workshops are developed to suit the specific needs of the group and range in time from two hours to two days, depending on the time available. The new two-hour training session based on the ‘ABCs of Effective Networking’ (published October 2008) is in great demand.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Brenda Eckstein International was awarded the prestigious ‘Star Three’ award by the South African Services Seta and shares her expertise in customer service workshops. Brenda has presented training in customer service and helped business implement programmes for many years. The training may be linked to sustainable customer service strategy (see the section on strategy) or provide the basics for an ‘in house’ programme.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • 'How to Get Your Point Across'
    Learn to get your point across whether speaking in small groups, meetings or addressing a wider audience. An easy and effective method is shown and applied to verbal and written communication.
  • 'Presentation Skills'
    Improve your presentations and speeches. This is a field in which Brenda has extensive experience as an instructor, evaluator and judge of contests in many different countries.
  • ‘Conversation skills’
    Enhance your conversation skills and use these tools to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • 'How to Delegate Effectively'
    Increase your available time by learning and practising ten easy steps to effective delegation (developed by Brenda).
  • ‘Assert yourself’
    Achieve results through confidently being assertive rather than aggressive.

This topic is gathering momentum and the training shows how to authentically promote your ‘best self’ and develop skills that will enable you to be ‘the person of choice’.
